1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone
2. Power ON the Ambient Light Kit by plugging the controller in (you can use your car’s USB port or our fuse kit)
3. Open the app, the Ambient Light Kit will automatically connect within a few seconds

Bluetooth range is roughly around 10 meters (without obstructions), the signal strength and distance will reduce as more obstacles are in-between your phone and the Ambient Light Kit.

The specific number of devices you can simultaneously control depends on the make and model of your phone. Generally, this is 7 devices for iOS phones and also 7 devices for Android phones which have Bluetooth 5.
Troubleshooting

Please power OFF the Ambient Light Kit, wait 10 seconds and then turn it back ON. You may also to turn Bluetooth OFF and back ON via your phone.

If you are noticing connectivity issues with the Ambient Light Kit, it is likely due to one or more of the following:
- The controller is placed in a recessed or enclosed location that is interfering with the Bluetooth signal.
- The controller is placed in a metal enclosure or close to metals that are interfering with the Bluetooth signal.
- Your phone is too far from the controller. See answer to Question 2 above.

The Ambient Light Kit does NOT require a PIN to connect. If you are being asked for a PIN, do NOT pair the light in your phones Bluetooth settings. The Bluetooth light connects via our app, simply open the app and click on ‘Add Device’ for the light kit that shows up.

- Double check the Ambient Light Kit controller is powered ON.
- Metal and similar materials can shield the Bluetooth signal, please see the answer to Question 6 above.
- Only one phone can control the Ambient Light Kit at a time, do not use more than one phone simultaneously to control the Ambient Light Kit.
